The Yarchei Kallah is a comprehensive, in-depth learning experience during which physicians, lawyers and other participants will have the opportunity to learn medical and legal halacha and ethics in a yeshiva/kollel environment. Contemporary topics will be introduced and reviewed in shiur presentations by local Rabbanim and poskim, analyzed during facilitated chavrusa study of relevant source texts, and further analyzed in-depth during shiurim by the program’s director HaRav Yaakov Weiner, shlita. The program’s goal is to learn medical and legal halacha in-depth and study how chazal and poskim apply Torah principles and approaches to contemporary halachic and ethical issues in the practice of medicine and law.
