Join us from August 16 - August 23, 2006 in Jerusalem in a stimulating Yeshiva environment of chevruta (partner) learning and shiurim (lectures). YK2006 will take place in the comfortably air-conditioned Beit Midrash of Boys Town in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Experienced and enthusiastic talmidei chachamim will be paired with the participants for the entire week. And as in previous Yarchei Kallah (click here to see highlights), a distinguished and highly learned panel of rabbinical authorities will deliver in-depth analyses of current issues in Jewish medical ethics.

Topics

The halachic position concerning diagnostic dispute between physicians and physician/patient disagreement.

Physicians rights to rest and relaxation vis a vis patient obligations.

Triage under conditions of limited resources.

Participants may be eligible to receive up to 50 hours of Category I continuing medical education (CME) credits. For certificate of proof from the CME office, an additional $25 charge is required.
